Morgan had lost four games at home, but after bumping their record up to 5-9 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Meadowbrook Colts as they made off with a 19-12 win. The Raiders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Brylee Shannon was a standout: he got on base in four of his six plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Landan Gheen, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Morgan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Meadowbrook only posted an OBP of .436.

As for Meadowbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6. They haven't had much luck with Morgan recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

On Meadowbrook's side, Braylon Lowery was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Landon Khune, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Coming up, Morgan will head out on the road to challenge Warren at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Meadowbrook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union Local at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
