The Montgomery County Wildcats can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They breezed by Van-Far at home to the tune of 57-25. Given Montgomery County's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Indians are ranked 402nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Van-Far saw an underclassman step up: Chloe Zumwalt scored 11 points.
Van-Far struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They are winless (0-5) when they just don't pass the ball.
Montgomery County's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Van-Far, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mark Twain the next time they take the court. Van-Far will host Mark Twain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Montgomery County will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
