The Southington Blue Knights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 43-42 photo finish over Simsbury. The victory was all the more spectacular given Southington's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Simsbury is ranked first).
