Hazelwood Central will challenge Ritenour on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Hazelwood Central will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Hazelwood Central got themselves on the board against McCluer last Saturday, but McCluer never followed suit. Hazelwood Central took the game and then some with a 40-0 win over McCluer. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Hazelwood Central are ranked far ahead of McCluer in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Meanwhile, after a dominant victory in their contest two weeks ago, Ritenour were humbled. They took a serious blow against Kirkwood, falling 21-58. Ritenour were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 14-41.
Hazelwood Central didn't have too much trouble with Ritenour the last time the two teams met as they won 27-12. Hazelwood Central's win shoved Ritenour out of the playoffs, so expect the team will have a target on their back in this one.
