North Star Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Irvington Blue Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Star Academy will be strutting in after a win while Irvington will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Saturday, North Star Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Millburn, taking the game 54-47.
Meanwhile, Irvington was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 50-45 to Ferris. Irvington has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Star Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Irvington, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
North Star Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Irvington when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 64-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Star Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
