Mississinewa fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Oak Hill on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 9-8. Even though they lost, the Indians' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Merric Mobley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Kallen Quaderer, who went 1-for-5 with one home run and two runs.

Mississinewa's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Oak Hill, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Mississinewa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against Leo on the 17th. As for Oak Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-11 loss against North Miami on the 17th.
