The Uxbridge Spartans waltzed into their matchup Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 54-45 victory over Blue Hills RVT.
Uxbridge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colin Spencer out in front who scored 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him. Ethan Mccusker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Uxbridge's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Blue Hills RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-1.
Uxbridge will head out on the road to face off against Prouty at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blue Hills RVT, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Keefe Tech at 5:00 p.m. One thing working in Keefe Tech's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
