It was another big night for Caleb Hagan, who posted 24 points in addition to six boards and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Foundation Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Tyndale Pittman, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sarasota Christian hadn't done well against Saint Stephen's Episcopal recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Sarasota Christian walked away with a 42-29 win over Saint Stephen's Episcopal. The team ran away with 29 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Sarasota Christian's win came from a few key players Foundation Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Justin Brock, who put up 12 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Travis Miller, who had 14 points.
Foundation Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33 points. As for Sarasota Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Foundation Christian Academy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 31.2 boards per game.
