The Troy Flying Horses can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They slipped by Guilderland 47-46. For Troy, this counts as revenge for the 56-42 loss Guilderland walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Troy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tre'Vonte Vantry, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Acevedo, who scored nine points.
Troy's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16. As for Guilderland, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with that defeat, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Guilderland also has no future games currently scheduled.
