The Fredericktown Black Cats lost against the Central Rebels last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Fredericktown took a serious blow against Central, falling 70-38. Fredericktown was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-14.
Central was led to victory by Caden Casey and Jobe Bryant. Casey scored 22 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Bryant almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine assists. Bryant is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Zack Boyd was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Fredericktown has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
Fredericktown is on the road again on Monday and plays St. Vincent at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. As for Central, they will square off against Kingston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Monday.
