Avery Westfield Puts an End to Karns' Losing Streak on Friday
Karns's five-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Avery Westfield. On Friday Westfield rushed for 213 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Karns: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.
Karns' victory bumped their record up to 3-5. Westfield and Karns will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
