After both having extra time off, the River Valley Falcons and the El Camino Eagles will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. River Valley will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
On Thursday, River Valley got the win against Placer by a conclusive 3-0.
River Valley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Placer between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-18.

River Valley relied on the efforts of Shaan Bachra, who had nine digs and two aces, and Jude Trojan, who had eight kills, eight digs, three aces, and one block. That's the most aces Trojan has posted over his last six games.
They weren't the only good server: River Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, El Camino came up short against Rio Americano on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 26-24, 29-27, 25-18.
River Valley's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-7. As for El Camino, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
