The Foxcroft Academy Ponies were the 51-37 winner over the Hermon Hawks when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Foxcroft Academy ended up on the wrong side of a tough 48-25 walloping at the hands of Hermon on Tuesday. Foxcroft Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Foxcroft Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Samantha Ossenfort. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Foxcroft Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hermon, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6.
Foxcroft Academy will play host again and welcome Dexter, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hermon, they will head out on the road to face off against John Bapst Memorial at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
