The GEO Next Generation Eagles won the last time they faced Fortune Academy, and things went their way on Thursday too. GEO Next Generation blew past Fortune Academy, posting a 61-17 win on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for GEO Next Generation.
Among those leading the charge was Isiah Jimison, who scored 22 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of GEO Next Generation's points. The team also got some help courtesy of De'Shon Fleming, who scored 13 points.
GEO Next Generation's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fortune Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
GEO Next Generation will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fortune Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
