Carthage's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Brownsboro Bears with a sharp 10-4 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matches by six runs or more this season.

Carthage has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Brownsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13-2.

Carthage will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bears: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
