Warner may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday they take on Bon Homme at 7:00 PM. Warner will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Bon Homme will be their toughest opponent yet.
Last Friday, Warner put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on Ipswich/Edmunds Central with a sharp 27-2 victory.
Meanwhile, Bon Homme faced Gregory in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Bon Homme won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Gregory 7-6. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
Warner didn't have too many spare points in their contest with Bon Homme the last time the two teams met, but they still walked away with a 18-12 win. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
