Lancaster has been on the road for seven straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Colonial Beach Drifters at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Lancaster came up short against Peninsula Catholic and fell 60-47.
The losing side was boosted by Troy Henderson, who scored 19 points along with three steals. Henderson is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kevontrez Bunns, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Colonial Beach's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a rough 67-46 loss at the hands of Northumberland. Colonial Beach has not had much luck with Northumberland recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Lancaster's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Colonial Beach, they bumped their record down to 4-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Lancaster against Colonial Beach when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 93-31 win. Does Lancaster have another victory up their sleeve, or will Colonial Beach turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
