The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Holland Patent in their matchups with Notre Dame: they've now lost four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Holland Patent lost, one person who can't be blamed is Terralyn McLaughlin. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with two steals. McLaughlin is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Michaela Cushman, who scored eight points.
Holland Patent dropped their record down to 6-7 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Notre Dame, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
