Everything went their way against the Bonham Warriors on Friday as they made off with a 14-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Carter Upton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Upton was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Kaden Barrett was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jesse Broadbent, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Van Alstyne has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
