Bettye Davis East Anchorage extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 16-2 in the process. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Chugiak Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 on Saturday.
Sela Rodriguez made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in June of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last four times she's played.
