There's no place like home for Rock Bridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the St. Dominic Crusaders on Saturday. The Bruins were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Crusaders, so the Bruins were just returning the favor.

While Rock Bridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22.

Rock Bridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emery Allen out in front who had nine assists and five digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Terry Schrock, who had eight digs and four assists.

Rock Bridge is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for St. Dominic, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-1.

Rock Bridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Ozark on the 13th. As for St. Dominic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Hoover on the 13th.
