The Pro-Vision Academy Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Sterling Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Pro-Vision Academy took care of business in their home opener two weeks ago. They snuck past Cristo Rey Jesuit with a 42-36 victory.
Sterling has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Waltrip 48-27. Given Sterling's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 707th, while Waltrip is ranked 1547th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Joemoriah Ben, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten steals. The matchup was Ben's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Morrow, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Pro-Vision Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Sterling, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
