Boise is 1-9 against Eagle since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Brave will look to defend their home field against the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Boise is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
Boise's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against North Star as they made off with a 16-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Brave needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Calder Hansen made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Boise got a massive performance out of Arthur Boyles, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Boyles also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Bo Schaaf, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Boise always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Star only posted an OBP of .316.
Meanwhile, Eagle faced Kuna in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Mustangs beat the Kavemen by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Eagle let Sam Palfreyman and Stephen Egan run wild. Palfreyman went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Egan went 3-for-4 with two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Ditlove, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
Boise's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Eagle, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
