The Ypsilanti Grizzlies will head out on the road to face off against the Academy for Business & Tech Gators at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Ypsilanti focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Monday.
Last Monday, everything came up roses for Ypsilanti at home against Henry Ford Academy as the team secured a 49-4 victory. 49 seems to be a good number for Ypsilanti as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Among those leading the charge was Charity Hurt, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds. Nylese Hood was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 10 steals and 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Academy for Business & Tech couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a rough 48-9 loss at the hands of Communication Media Arts.
The victory makes it two in a row for Ypsilanti and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Academy for Business & Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
