Minooka had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. Everything went their way against the Plainfield North Tigers as they made off with a 12-2 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Minooka's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Plainfield North, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Minooka will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
