Perry entered their tilt with Conneaut on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Spartans. The Pirates' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matchups.

Madelyn Rupert made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Perry got a massive performance out of Arianna Rogers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Rogers has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Elise Strahan, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Perry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Conneaut only posted an OBP of .167.

Perry's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Conneaut, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Perry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-6 victory against Jefferson Area on the 8th. As for Conneaut, they have also already played their next game, an 11-5 win against Grand Valley on the 7th.
