Lafayette waltzed into their match on Saturday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jefferson City Jays. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.

Shaye Witherspoon paced Lafayette's offense, picking up 13 kills. Witherspoon got some help from Hailey Lowery and her 13 assists. Witherspoon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lafayette's record now sits at 29-1. As for Jefferson City, their loss dropped their record down to 17-12-1.

Lafayette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 14th. As for Jefferson City, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Helias on the 14th.
