Little Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Milaca Wolves. One positive for the Flyers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Little Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Milaca, they moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Falls will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pillager at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Milaca will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Hermantown at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
