It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lindsay had no problem doing just that  on Friday.   Jose Cortes was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 187 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 137  rushing yards.
 Lindsay's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 33.0 points per game. As for Mira Monte, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 7-7.
 Lindsay will take on Chatsworth at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Chatsworth will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Lindsay surely won't give up without a fight. Mira Monte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
