Oswego (Ill.) snapped
Plainfield North (Plainfield, Ill.)'s 5-game winning streak, with a 21-7 victory on Saturday.
The lead that the Panthers took on a touchdown run with 11:00 left in the second quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.
With the win Oswego extended its winning streak to five games. OHS defeated the Bengals 42-7 last week.

Kendall Interial played well. The senior wide receiver caught one touchdown.
Plainfield North's lone touchdown came on a 31-yard pass from
Kurt Palendech to Interial in the first quarter.
The Panthers entered the contest giving up 18.5 points per game this year.
When the two teams played each other last season, Oswego came away with a 42-21 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Plainfield North, which notched a 55-23 victory over Romeoville in its previous outing.
Oswego (6-1) will play a Southwest Prairie game against Plainfield South next week, while Plainfield North (5-2) will take on Minooka also in a Southwest Prairie game.
