Lexi Montalban looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cydnee Meekins, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
