The Hawthorne Christian Defenders fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game on Thursday as the odds are decidedly against them. They will head out on the road to face off against the Cresskill Cougars. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
The Defenders came out on top in a nail-biter against Midland Park on Tuesday, sneaking past 52-49.
Meanwhile, Cresskill didn't have too much trouble with Emerson on the road on Tuesday as they won 62-44.
It was close but no cigar for Hawthorne as they fell 45-41 to Cresskill in the teams' previous meeting in January. Can Hawthorne avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
