Farmington is 0-6 against Davis since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Farmington Phoenix will be playing in front of their home fans against the Davis Darts at 5:15 p.m. The timing isn't great for Farmington: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Davis has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.
Last Friday, Farmington ended up a good deal behind Layton and lost 55-39.
Meanwhile, Davis faced Syracuse in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Davis took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Syracuse on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Davis has scored all season.
Despite their defeat, Davis saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kendra Kitchen, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Kitchen hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games. Another player making a difference was T'Maea Eteuati, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Davis, their defeat ended a 17-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-1.
Farmington came up short against Davis in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 40-35. Thankfully for Farmington, Aryanna Bull (who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
