Englewood has gone a perfect 8-0 against ED White recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Rams will challenge the Commanders at 6:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Englewood has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while ED White will arrive with three straight wins.

Englewood fell victim to Atlantic Coast and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 22-0 to the Stingrays.

ED White came out on top against Ribault on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Commanders were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Trojans. Fans of the Commanders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Marion Laguerre was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

In other batting news, Kenai Wilkins was a standout: he got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Clayton Friddell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

ED White kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.

ED White's record now sits at 3-0. As for Englewood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Englewood got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 against ED White by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
