It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Crimson Cliffs had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   7-4  win over the Snow Canyon Warriors. The  victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won seven  contests in a row.
 QUINN CHESNIK looked comfortable as he  pitched 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Crimson Cliffs got a big performance out of  CUTTER CHRISTENSEN, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  CHRISTENSEN a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  MCKAY WRIGHT, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
Crimson Cliffs' record is now 23-8. As for Snow Canyon,  this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 23-8.
Crimson Cliffs will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
