Victor Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was ISAIAH AMADOR out in front who scored 16 points. The game was AMADOR's third in a row with at least ten points. AXEL SOSA was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Several Thunderbirds players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jonathan Campbell, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Campbell hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Angel Montoya, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Victor Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. As for Yucaipa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victor Valley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Barstow at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Yucaipa will be home for the holidays to greet Indian Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
