Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, Waterbury Career Academy got a massive performance out of Isaiah Santiago, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave Santiago a new career-high in hits (two). Elijah DeLeon was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double.
Waterbury Career Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
