St. Joseph Notre Dame has gone 9-1 against Redwood Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pilots will welcome the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. St. Joseph Notre Dame will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
St. Joseph Notre Dame proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 20) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Head-Royce 4-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 25, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Cassandra Sanchez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Ella Schwartz was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Safah Hashemi, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Redwood Christian gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on San Domenico with a sharp 14-4 win. Considering the Eagles have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Savannah Hendren, who went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Julia Cook was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Redwood Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
St. Joseph Notre Dame's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Redwood Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. St. Joseph Notre Dame hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Redwood Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
St. Joseph Notre Dame beat Redwood Christian 8-3 in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Pilots repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
