Baseball Recap: Oxford Prep Picks Up Ninth Consecutive Win

Oxford Prep had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They blew past the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions 17-0. Considering the Griffins have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Drew West was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Bryson Preddy was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
