Lancaster Catholic won the last time they faced Eastern York and things went their way on Thursday too. The Crusaders blew past the Golden Knights 7-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Zach Zuber spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits.

At the plate, Luis Velez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Drew Walker was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Lancaster Catholic's record now sits at 3-4. As for Eastern York, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Lancaster Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Lancaster Mennonite at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern York, they will welcome Solanco at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
