Trinity is 8-1 against the Broncos since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Trinity Celtics will be playing at home against the Remington Broncos at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Trinity came up short against the Bulldogs and fell 57-46. While losing is never fun, Trinity can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 44th).
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-21, which was the final score in Remington's tilt against the Black Bears on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Remington has scored all season.
Trinity's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9. As for Remington, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.
Trinity skirted past the Broncos 70-68 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Trinity repeat their success, or do the Broncos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
