Michael Anthony Dazzles in Cortez Loss
Starting off the list is Cortez's Michael Anthony, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Anthony rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run.

Joshua Mchale's big game helped extend Glendale Prep Academy's winning streak to three on Friday. Nobody could stop Mchale as he threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Mchale must have Highland Prep's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Mchale saw the Honey Badgers), he threw for 116 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown.

A Season-Best Performance from Jamerrius Anthony Leads Cortez over Camp Verde

Lincoln must have Highland Prep's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lincoln saw the Honey Badgers), he picked up 53 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
