Despite the loss, Wayne still got an impressive performance from Isaac Meddings, who scored 26 points along with six rebounds. The contest was Meddings' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cooper Adkins, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Wayne's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-5. As for Buffalo, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Wayne and WestSide will round out the year against one another at 7:40 p.m. on Friday at. WestSide presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wayne in West Virginia (WestSide is ranked 29th, while Wayne is ranked 101st). Buffalo will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Poca at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
