The Passaic Valley Hornets took an ego-bruising defeat against West Milford this past Thursday, but they kept their chin up and bounced back this past Saturday. The Hornets enjoyed a cozy 40-22 victory over the Mahwah Thunderbirds.
The win bumped Passaic Valley's record up to 5-13. The loss dropped Mahwah's record to 6-12.
Passaic Valley will square off against Fair Lawn on Tuesday. Unlike Passaic Valley, Fair Lawn will be stumbling in off of a loss. As for Mahwah, they will go up against Ramsey on Tuesday. Mahwah is at home for the game, a silver lining they hope will compensate for their disadvantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
