Blue Valley has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Washington County Tigers at TBD on Tuesday. Washington County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Blue Valley, who comes in off a win.
Blue Valley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Onaga, posting a 80-48 victory on the road.
Meanwhile, Washington County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by Clifton-Clyde 55-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Washington County has scored all season.
Blue Valley pushed their record up to 8-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Washington County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Blue Valley against the Tigers in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 79-49 win. Does Blue Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
