Auburn extended the longest winning streak in 6A Region 3 this week by beating McGill-Toolen, 24-21. The victory was the 11th in a row for the team.
Auburn and the Yellowjackets played the most contested game in the league this week, with Auburn eventually emerging with a 24-21 victory. Bradley Northcutt threw for 116 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 56 yards during the win.
Tim Carter's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Tyus Flakes contributed 144 yards. Jeramiya Kitchens helped Auburn's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 16 yards.

Ben Coleman made the biggest impact on defense this week as Auburn topped Bart Sessions' team. He pulled down 1 interception.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Carver's Mike Mckenny and Landy Capetillo have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Mckenny has thrown for 1,909 yards this season, while Capetillo has 37 catches for 862 yards. The Tigers' Flakes leads the league in rushing yards with 1,278.
In 200 carries Reggie Hall has put up 988 yards this year.
Entering into this week's contest against Hoover, Northcutt is short just 94 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season. So far this year, Northcutt has thrown for 1,906 yards with 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
Lee made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,011 from 5,074.
