Volleyball Recap: Geraldine's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Geraldine was the 2-1 winner over Holly Pond when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Broncos on Monday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Geraldine ultimately came up short, they really made Holly Pond work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19.

Sarah Chambless paced Geraldine's offense, picking up six kills. Chambless got some help from Jessie Richey and her 12 assists.

Geraldine's defeat dropped their record down to 15-24. As for Holly Pond, their victory bumped their record up to 22-9.

Geraldine has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Susan Moore on the 6th. Holly Pond does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
