Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Academy Eagles vs. Polk County Christian Knights

The Trinity Christian Academy Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Polk County Christian Knights on Friday.

Trinity Christian Academy came up short against Victory Road Christian Academy back in December of 2024, falling 59-39. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite their loss, Trinity Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Caden Herd, who posted 12 points, was perhaps the best of all. Herd has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cameron Stauffer, who had 13 points.

Meanwhile, Polk County Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Arrows, sneaking past 49-47.

Polk County Christian's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
