It was a good run, but Fyffe unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Collinsville Panthers by a score of 4-3. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Fyffe's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Collinsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

While Fyffe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
