After two games on the road, Hancock is heading back home. They will take on the George County Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Hancock is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rebels in Mississippi (the Hawks are ranked 92nd, while the Rebels are ranked 213th).
Last Thursday, Hancock was the victim of a rough 51-31 loss at the hands of the Red Rebels. Hancock has struggled against the Red Rebels recently, as their match on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, George County came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Long Beach by a score of 59-51 on Tuesday. The win was just what George County needed coming off of a 57-34 loss in their prior game.
Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for George County, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.
Hancock beat the Rebels 56-48 when the teams last played last Thursday. Will Hancock repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
